Would anyone like Mason for second shift? I promise he's showered recently and has had all his shots :)

I don't get back from class until 10:30pm on Wednesdays and I'm usually pretty fried at that point, so I'm not around much that day. Then my internet connection died for 24 hours or so. Sorry for the resultant lack of posts/contact/AIM presence. :(

Unfortunately it's come back just as I'm getting ready to lie down for a bit, so I doubt I'll be back before shift change (which I thought I'd already missed, until just now, anyway ^^; ).

So! Backthreads, or no backthreads? I would definitely like to backthread Farf and Kimbley, but other than that I'm cool either way. (Junior-mun, ZEX-mun and Leon (SO2)-mun, lemme know if you want to backthread).

Hey, guys! This is Court on a character journal so that I can make polls. 8D Anyway, remember this post? Well, we've read through all of the comments and suggestions you guys gave, and I've taken the main points and put together a poll so that we can square everything out.

Please make sure you read the questions carefully! They're kind of long. 8D

I think it's pretty much the majority vote that we should have more M-U slots. But how many should we have? Keep in mind that the more slots we have, the more NPC mods are needed, which means the person playing your doctor has less of a chance of knowing your character's canon.

Should Nightshift-Only characters only come out every OTHER night (instead of every night) so that there would be less crowding on SC nights? (People who play NS-only characters, feel free to voice your opinion in comments.)

If NS-only characters DO end up only coming out every other night, should more SC slots be allowed on the SC nights?

Should there be one SC slot on M-U nights just to speed up the process and make sure that the amount of M-U and SC slots are fairly even?

Regarding the M-U/Disciplinary Therapy hallway. Should it...

Should Nightshift-Only characters ever be allowed in the M-U hallway, or should it stick to either being empty or having small-fry monsters?

Also, I'm going to put up a post in damned_info where you specify whether you want SC or M-U for your character so that we can have separate randomization groups to cut down on those situations where we end up having to put up a poll to fill spots. (And it'll be perfectly fine to say you want in both pools if you're unsure about what you want, too!) So I'll post to the lounge about that once I've done it. It should be soon.

Lastly, we know that there were concerns that there need to be more reasons for patients to go to places other than the basement, and we've been working on a few ideas to help with that, so some of those should be implemented this nightshift. :D

Starting a second job starting today, so I might be slower in posting for Eddie Brock, Qui-Gon, and Clark Kent. It'll probably be slowish for about 90 days or so, seeing how the second job's 90 day probation or whatever goes.

Is it okay if we have Luffy and Brock meet during lunch today? Thanks.

D8 In light of this... to make up for you guys waiting an extra day, do you guys want an extra day added to each shift of this day, since it is the day new characters are introduced, and that way everyone can have time to get the place explained to them and meet up with old buddies/enemies and stuff? OR, should this be an isolated event? 8D;

Since it looks like Lia's being introduced in the upcoming shift, I should probably find somewhere to put her. If anyone would feel like explaining the situation to a bewildered and rather spooked Queen, it would be much appreciated. I am willing to bribe with cookies provided I can get the whole matter transport via internet thing figured out.

Apologies to anyone _{*coughMaiacough*} that wanted to thread with Willow, but RL calls. In a really, really annoying sort of way. I should be back in time for lunch shift! :D

As Tyki Mikk will be introduced second shift, is there anyone who would like first dibs on him?? canonmates get first priority on him (Hi Rhode and Allen, and possibly Rinali? I'm looking at you :D), but if you want a four-eyed hobo to poke your character anyway, feel free to say so~! :D He'll behave, I swear!

And while I'm at it, Albel has no plans either. Who would like an anti-social, PMSing warrior in a wheelchair? Don't worry, as he doesn't bite! Scar has doctor session, so he's not available.

As much as I hate to do it, I think it's time that I drop Alfons. He was fun, but it's just plain too hard to actually do anything with the guy. So, please remove clockworkblond, yeah? And as he hasn't done anything in forever, it's safe to assume that he's disappeared.

Because, um, WELL, I thought lunch was the only shift he'd have available when I first made that appointment, but then certain...things happened and stuff is now kinda shuffled around. omg whut. Anyway.

The short of it is, Angel has to meet Hitsu for lunch since Hitsu is all bothered about nearly getting sliced in half, idk what that's all about :( *killed*, so if he'd be able to see Willow for second shift -- we could do the whole shift or just the beginning of it, if that would work better for you -- that would be awesome.

If you already have plans and stuff, then don't worry about it. |D;;

Pretty much, I'm heading up to Stotesbury in Pennsylvania tomorrow for a MASSIVE regatta, and I have no idea what the internet will be like up there.  So with luck, I'll be on slow-posting tomorrow through Saturday!

This field geology class is kicking my ass more than I ever imagined possible. I'm loaded down with work and utterly exhausted at the end of each day; I just don't have the energy or mental ability to post at all right now, I'm afraid.

Renji and Captain Jack are therefore on hiatus until the class is done, which will hopefully be 5/23 if the weather is good.

Alright I'll probably be hopping back into the game come 2nd shift, as RL is starting to sort itself out once more. That being said...

Anyone want a Max, Shana, or Tyler at some point today? Their schedules are still completely open. Daemon might have 2nd shift open still, and Claire... is mostly open since I'm not sure just when she's getting introduced yet, but is entirely available once she is. Except for you, Sylar. She doesn't like your cookies.
